Patna, Dec 01: The dawn to dusk Bihar Bandh, called by the Indian Federal Democratic Party to protest the attacks on Biharis in Assam, began today amid extra security measures.
Director General Of Police D P Ojha said police had taken all precautionary measures to deal with the protest call.

The bandh supporters will not be allowed to take law into their hands, he said, adding that all the vital installations particularly the railways have been provided with extra police force.

Superintendents of Police of all the districts have been instructed to keep special vigil on rail tracks and movement of buses, he said.
