The decision to ban Khadam-e-Islam led by

sectarian outfits including Milat Islamia, a Sunni militant
group, was taken at a high level law and order meeting attended
by President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Mir
Zafarullah Khan Jamali tonight, official media reports here
said.
Following the ban Pakistan police conducted raids on
several offices of the outfits.
Musharraf banned Jaish and Lashkar last year, but the organisations resurfaced with different names and functioned openly.
