Aligarh. Oct 13: Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee general secretary, Naseem Pathan said here today that party workers must be fully prepared to launch an agitation if the Central government continues to use intelligence agenices for serving the BJP's political agenda. The state Congress general secretary told reporters that events in the past few weeks clearly indicated that the BJP was trying to use the CBI for de-stabilising the Congress in view of the forthcoming parliamentary elections.

Pathan said it was alarming that some opposition parties were also conspiring with the BJP in this nefarious plan. He said that after Nationalist Congress Party president (NCP), Sharad Pawar's statement on the foreign origin of Sonia Gandhi, the time had come for the NCP leader to publicly declare whether he was with the BJP or the secular camp.
