urged the European Union to play a "facilitatory" role to
persuade New Delhi to have foreign secretary level parleys.
"Pakistan has made another request to the

"Pakistan may suggest, shortly, two or three dates to
India for a round of Indo-Pakistan foreign secretaries'
dialogue which diplomats expect to be resumed after the UN
general assembly session," the daily reported.
The diplomat said Islamabad had also conveyed to the
international community that there was no training camp for
terrorists on its soil and no terrorist is crossing the line
of control.
"I speak to foreign ministers of India and Pakistan often and I get positive indicators during our telephonic conversations that things are moving in the right direction," EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana told daily.
Expressing his optimism about the success of the peace process in South Asia, Solana hoped that official level dialogue between India and Pakistan would start soon.
