Jammu, June 23: Ruling out any bargain on Jammu and Kashmir with Pakistan, the ruling Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) national president, Venkaiah Naidu, today said the Central government has adopted a two-fold strategy to crush terrorism and bring peace and normalcy in Jammu and Kashmir.
“We have made it clear that there would be no bargaining on J&K with Pakistan. This stand is firm as far BJP and Central government is concerned,” Naidu told reporters soon after his arrival on a one-day visit to Jammu.
Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and its integration with the Indian union is “full and final”, he said.
Naidu said the Central government has adopted a two-fold strategy for bringing back peace speedily in J&K. Under this strategy, BJP-led Central government has decided to hold talks with Pakistan on one side but at the same time it will crush terrorism with an iron hand, BJP chief said.
As far as talks with Pakistan are concerned, the dialogue between the two sides would depend on the total stop to cross-border terrorism by Pakistan, he said. Bureau Report
