PM enquires about Naidu
New Delhi, Oct 01: Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee today telephoned Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at Tirupati and enquired about his well being.
New Delhi, Oct 01: Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee today telephoned Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at Tirupati and enquired about his well being.
Vajpayee called Naidu shortly after the Chief Minister survived a possible attempt on his life in a landmine blast on way to Thirumala in Andhra Pardesh.
He also sent a message to former West Bengal Chief Minister Jyoti Basu condoling the death of his wife Kamal Basu who passed away in Kolkata yesterday, a PMO spokesman said.
The Prime Minister sent a bouquet and his good wishes to former Prime Minister Chandrashekar who underwent a heart bypass surgery at Apollo Hospital here.
