New Delhi, Nov 27: The condition of former Kerala Chief Minister E K Nayanar, who is undergoing treatment for coronary artery disorder at the Escorts Heart Institute here, is stated to be stable. His condition is stable and there was no need to panic, hospital sources said today.

Doctors at the institute would perform cardiac angiography on him, they said.

The veteran CPI-M leader was flown to Delhi yesterday after doctors, attending him at the Medical College Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram, said that he required treatment in a better hospital, family sources said.

Nayanar was undergoing treatment for cardiac problems in Thiruvananthapuram for over a week, they said. Bureau Report
