“We have promised every possible help to the rebuilding of Afghanistan,” Lambah said before leaving for Delhi with Abdullah after a day-long visit.

Lambah described the meetings as fruitful' and said that the two Afghan ministers appreciated India's help and were looking forward to a long term cooperation.
He said that Afghanistan mainly needs help in the health and education sectors urgently. Lambah said that Indian doctors have made the I G hospital in New Delhi operational and were attending to at least 250 patients every day.
