Ayodhya, June 29: As the ASI continues its excavation exercise to determine what lies beneath the disputed site, the Liberhan Commission is attempting to piece together the sequence of events that led to the demolition of the Babri Masjid.
On the second day of his visit here, Justice M S Liberhan is likely to visit the makeshift temple and the spot from where Union Ministers L K Advani, M M Joshi and other senior BJP leaders had delivered speeches on December 6, 1992 when the Babri Masjid structure was demolished.
Justice M S Liberhan yesterday, inspected the acquired area taking notes on the points from where the karsevaks stormed the disputed structure. He used maps to determine where were the police barricades had been put up that fateful day and where the police parties had been deployed.
There is no official word on the agenda of the commission`s two-day Ayodhya visit, the third in 11 odd years of inquiry.
