Mumbai, Feb 02: A three-day international exhibition and conference on fire safety, 'Fire India 2004', will begin here today. The conference has been organised to bring together world's leading fire equipment manufacturers to promote usefulness and availability of their technology and services required for dealing with fire suppression and natural disasters such as cyclone, flood and earthquakes, according to Sandeep Gurwara of Service International.
The exhibition will elicit participation from fire protection industry of Canada, China, France, Germany, Middle East, Netherlands, Switzerland, UK and USA, he added.
The latest and very best products of fire fighting, fire engineering equipment, fire protection and control will be showcased by more than 100 private companies from all over the world, he said.
Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde would inaugurate the conference organised by Services International in association with Institution of Fire Engineers (India). Bureau Report
