New Delhi, Mar 09: Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee today gave his best wishes to Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani on his Bharat Uday Yatra, which starts from Kanyakumari tomorrow. Soon after the Cabinet meeting, the Prime Minister and all the Cabinet colleagues wished Advani as he was to leave for Kanyakumari around 1500 hours today. Advani would traverse from Kanyakumari to Amritsar and then Porbandar to Puri in a three-day yatra to be undertaken in two phases. He will be using a specially made vehicle, fitted with modern gadgets and having provision to address small public meetings from atop the vehicle. Advani had earlier undertaken two yatras--the first being Somnath to Ayodhya in 1990 and the second being the country-wide golden jubilee yatra in 1997 undertaken to celebrate the country's 50 years of independence.
