New Delhi, Sept 02: Samsung Electronics will soon launch notebook PCs and latest flat screen digital televisions in India, a market which the South Korean firm considers as one of the six fastest growing markets.

"Over the next six months, we plan to introduce in India latest LCD televisions, large screen plasma digital panel (PDP) televisions, projection TVs, hypervision DVD players and notebook PCs," KS Kim, president & CEO (Asia-Pacific), Samsung Asia, said on the sidelines of IFA 2003 trade exhibition here.
Samsung, South Korea's biggest company, showcased the world's largest 54-inch LCD television, the world's first 70-inch PDP television, hypervision DVD players and the world's first hard disk drive-based digital camcorder at IFA.

Kim said Samsung plans to introduce a range of large PDP, LCD (liquid crystal display) and projection televisions, featuring ultra-crisp images, improved picture quality and unsurpassed resolution, in India from this month.
Samsung also launched 56-inch triple panel LCD projector TV, a range of portable digital audio devices, advanced home cinema systems, 32-inch LCD TVs and the world's thinnest and lightest two-spindle notebook PC.
