President K R Narayanan underwent a surgery today morning at a city hospital for removal of gall bladder stones.
President K R Narayanan underwent a surgery today morning at a city hospital for removal of gall bladder stones.
"It was a successful surgery and the President is recovering," Ganga Ram hospital sources said.
Narayanan was operated upon by a team of doctors led by the head of the Minimal Access Surgery department, Dr Pradeep Chaubey.
A Rashtrapati Bhavan communique had earlier said that the President will not receive any visitors in the hospital as per medical advice.
