New Delhi: An 18-year-old black-capped capuchin monkey from Tianjin zoo in China has become an internet sensation.
This is because the monkey has a human-like face and features, which has left many social media users stunned.
The primate has gained popularity when a user shared a video of the animal on Weibo, a Chinese equivalent of Twitter. The video has been viewed at least eight million times.
According to a report in the Daily Mail, one of the users said that the monkey's eyes and mouth resembled humans.
The monkey shows a frantic expression as it looks into the camera.
As per a report, users were so astonished that one of them even joked if a zoo staff member dressed up as a monkey and stayed in the enclosure.
This is not the first time that an animal with the face and features of a human has surfaced online.
Recently, a video went viral which showed a gorilla walking on two feet just like a human being.
