New Delhi: After authorities made a call to shut the premises of Delhi zoo earlier this week fearing the spread of bird flu, the fear of avian flu spreading beyond the premises is on a rapid rise.

As per reports, at least 10 birds have been found dead in the city over the past 48 hours which include five at the capital city's deer park.

Delhi zoo, which has been shut since Tuesday saw two more bird deaths after the samples had been sent for testing.

Following this, authorities have issued a notice to remain calm and alert and not to roam around bird carcasses.
