At least six policemen were injured, two of them seriously, when suspected MCC extremists blasted a powerful landmine at a place under Bagodar police station area in Giridih district of Bihar on Wednesday.
At least six policemen were injured, two of them seriously, when suspected MCC extremists blasted a powerful landmine at a place under Bagodar police station area in Giridih district of Bihar on Wednesday.
District Deputy Commissioner Satyendra Singh said in Giridh on Thursday that the landmine was targeted to kill a police squad, who was on a mission to trace a truck. “The truck was hijacked by the MCC extremists,” he said.
The extremists also looted two revolvers and a rifle from the policemen. The seriously injured police personnel were shifted to Bokaro hospital. Bureau Report
