Indian economy is going through a process of structural adjustments opening up floodgates of foreign investment in various fields, Lok Sabha Speaker G M C Balayogi said in New Delhi.
“Today, a great deal of change is taking place in India, especially in the economic sphere. What was unthinkable even ten years back is today a distinct possibility in India,” Balayogi said.

“You must seize this opportunity to take full advantage of the reform process and invest in India,” the speaker told Non-Resident Indian entrepreneurs at a reception hosted at the India house by the High Commissioner Nareshwar Dayal in honour of the Indian delegation to the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association conference.

Referring to the sizeable Indian community in Britain, he said, “We in India take immense pride over the fact that our brothers and sisters on foreign shores are doing so well in various walks of life and bringing name and fame to their motherland in the process.”
