Srichand Hinduja interrogated for three hours by CBI
Hinduja group Chairman Srichand P Hinduja was interrogated by CBI for around three hours on Saturday pursuant to a designated court`s direction asking him and his two brothers to make themselves available before the agency for questioning in connection with the Rs 64 crore Bofors payoff case.

Srichand, G P Hinduja and P P Hinduja, who have been accused by the CBI of receiving 81 million Swedish Kroners as kickback from ‘A B Bofors’ in the Rs 1437 crore gun deal, reported at the agency`s headquarters here around 4:00 pm but G P Hinduja and P P Hinduja left the agency office in less than half an hour.
Coming out of the CBI office at 6:25 pm, Srichand said that he had no comments to make to any of the queries of the media persons.
However, when the reporters persisted with him, he said, “We are fully cooperating with the investigating agency.
The Hindujas have been granted bail by the trial court after they appeared before it on Friday but were restrained from going out of the country without prior permission from the court. Their application seeking permission to go out of the country will be heard on Monday.
