The government has no problem if some of the Hurriyat leaders want to travel to Pakistan, according to responsible sources in the Vajpayee administration. Meeting her is an experience. She represents another generation, an era when there was time enough to enjoy the simple things of life. She is small in size, but her life, past and present, is a very large canvas that covers every emotion, every relationship. If these people want to go to Pakistan, nobody is preventing them," sources said.
However, what is not acceptabe is the Hurriyat leaders wanting to go to Pakista to broker a peace between New Delhi and Islamabad, or being allowed to go because Pakistan chooses to anoint the APHC as the "recognized" Kashmir group.
