Ten people, including a woman, were killed and 42 others hospitalised after consuming illicit liquor at Kalluvathukal in Kollam district yesterday, police said today. While eight died at the medical college hospital here this morning, two lost their lives at district hospital, Kollam, yesterday, police added. Police said the victims had consumed the hootch from an unlicensed shop at Kalluvathakul last evening. Of the 42 taken ill, 26 were admitted to the medical college hospital, Thiruvananthapuram, and the remaining to the Kollam District Hospital, they said. Bureau Report
