Various models are available in screen sizes – 32-inch, 40-inch, 48-inch, 55-inch etc. In case you are planning to purchase a 40-inch LED TV, make sure your room can accommodate a minimum viewing distance of 5 feet to 7 feet

In case, you are willing to pocket out more, always go for Full HD 1080p TVs. They are much better than 720p HD Ready TVs in terms of screen resolution. Houses with small rooms should always have Full HD 1080p TV installed.

3) Usage

It's advised to be clear about the usage of TV right from the start. If the usage is limited to surfing TV channels, you can easily avoid the models with additional functionalities. Otherwise, buy a piece that supports all popular formats.

4) Speakers play a major role

Good speakers, preferably 2.1 channel speakers, are a must if you want to really enjoy television watching.

5) Strong connectivity ports

Ensure the connectivity ports including audio jack are of good quality. An LED television with a powerful Bluetooth is always advised.
