New Delhi: Mobile-handset manufacturer Intex Technologies launched two new smartphone models - Aqua 5.5 VR and Aqua Craze II – on Friday. The phones are priced at Rs 5,099 and Rs 5,990, respectively. Aqua 5.5 VR can be purchased on e-commerce site Flipkart on October 19. The other phone Aqua Craze II will be available in retail stores.


"After extensive research and user inputs, we developed the Aqua 5.5VR and Aqua Craze II that promise to deliver improved quality of selfies as well as multitasking and better connectivity," said Unnikrishnan Mohandas, Product Head-Intex Technologies, in a statement.

The 4G Volte-enabled smartphone Aqua 5.5 VR comes with a 5.5-inch HD IPS screen display along with a 5MP front and back camera.

The device is powered by a 64-bit Quad-core Mediatek processor along with 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM and 32GB expandable memory coupled with the latest Android Marshmallow 6.0 OS.

Aqua Craze II has a 5-inch HD IPS screen and is powered with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM. This device also comes with 5MP front and back camera along with LED flash.
