The woman, an executive in Gurugram, was riding back home on scooter from work around midnight, when she noticed a car following her.

The men raced behind, repeatedly trying to stop her, screaming obscenities. The ordeal continued for about three kilometres with the men repeatedly shouting at her to stop.

Terrified, the woman went inside the nearest police station to register a complaint. However, she could not recall the car number, except for the first part "HR-57".

“We are checking CCTV footage of the route and vehicle number given by the complainant,” Ravinder Kumar, Public Relations Officer, Gurugram Police told ANI.

The incident comes barely days after outrage over the stalking case of Varnika Kundu by Vikas Barala, the son of Haryana BJP chief Subhash Barala.
