Rewari: In a shocking incident, a sarpanch family members thrashed two sisters outside their house in Haryana's Rewari district.

The incident happened after the women objected to the height of drain being constructed near their house.

The shocking incident was caught on camera and shared widely on the social media platforms.

In the video, two male members of the sarpanch's family can be seen beating the two helpless women in the presence of villagers.

One of the assaulters tried to hit one of the sisters with a brick, while the other dragged and repeatedly kicked the other women.

The thrashing of two sisters stopped after their neighbours intervened.
