New Delhi: Health experts have always advised that the smallest doubt over the slightest symptom should be shown to the doctor immediately, to avoid the risk of anything serious.

However, there are many people who wave off the initial symptoms as a normal thing, thinking it will go away and then suffer after it's too late.

The same happened with two-year-old Shakiba from Bangladesh, who was born with a small lump under her right arm.

Her family didn't think too much of it and let it go. However, the lump kept growing and with time, covered her entire right hand and has now spread to her chest as well.

Shakiba now has an arm that weighs 3 kilos and everyday is a struggle for her as she is unable to stand or walk.

According to a report in the Deccan Chronicle, the condition is believed to be haemangioma and the stigma associated to it is making life worse for the little girl.

The people of the village have completely isolated the child and because of her condition, won't let their children play with her in fear of them being infected.

Shakiba's family's financial condition doesn't allow them to pay for her treatment. Her mother mentions how her daughter yearns to join other children in the village, Deccan Chronicle reported.
