One should not consume spicy foods just after vomiting and instead should eat bland food items like khichdi, sandwiches and other foods that don't contain too many spices. Eating spicy food will only give rise to more acidity and could trigger another bout of vomiting.

Yoghurt is considered the best option food after comiting as it is easily digestible. It also acts as a natural probiotic and will instantly soothe your stomach and prevent acidity to an extent. But one should consume only fresh curd that is not very sour in taste.
We often drink lots of water right after vomiting. But one should not drink water and instead have two to three ice cubes as it helps reduce nausea.
