New Delhi: Child birth, also known as labour and delivery, is the most amazing and feared part of pregnancy. Nobody can predict how long your labour pain will last because every woman's experience of labour pain is different. But one common thing every pregnant woman has in her mind is that - hopes for a quick and easy delivery.
The average length of active labour for a first-time mum may take about eight hours, but it might not be the same for every woman as it could be much shorter or longer than that.
And here's a woman who gave birth in less than one minute! As per a report from the UK's Daily Mirror, Jessica Stubbins from Scunthorpe gave birth to her daughter Lucy in less than a minute while standing at a hospital entrance without any medical help. Jessica ended up giving birth to her daughter at the hospital entrance while her husband Tom was still parking the car.

“I could feel her coming and she just popped out like a champagne cork,” Jessica, an assistant manager at a card shop, told the Daily Mirror.
“It was only about a hundred feet away and I still missed it,” said a shocked Tom, who wasn't expecting his little girl to come out that quickly at all.
The report added that after the surprise birth, nurses came along and wrapped the baby in a hoody before taking the mother and daughter through to see a midwife. Both mom and the baby are totally said to be healthy.
