New Delhi: After a long wait, a transgender - Trystan Reese - with his gay husband Biff Chaplow finally welcomed their first biological child into the world, a baby boy on July 14, 2017.

The couple named their little bundle of joy, Leo Murray Chaplow.


According to a report in Daily Mail, the couple welcomed their baby after experiencing a heart-breaking miscarriage at six weeks in 2016, when trans-dad Trystan became pregnant for the first time. 


Now, he is overjoyed after giving birth to his child.


The couple already has two children. They adopted Biff’s niece and nephew after his sister and her boyfriend were found to be neglectful due to their substance abuse problems, as reported.


Trystan was born a girl but kept his 'original parts' and temporarily stopped taking testosterone to conceive.


After the miscarriage, he initially wanted to wait for a year to conceive again, but as there were complications of restarting and then going off testosterone again. Hence, they tried again right away.


Though it took them longer to conceive the second time, making them worry about missing their ‘only chance.’ But then, after trying for six months, Trystan woke up feeling sick and discovered the good news.
