Indore: At least 10 persons were dead and several injured after a three-storeyed building collapsed in Madhya Pradesh's Indore. The incident took place near Sarvate Bus Stand around 10 on Saturday night.

The building housed a lodge-cum-eatery outlet MS Hotel.


 



According to VS Paul, the Superintendent of MY Hospital, seven injured were brought to the hospital immediately. Later, four were declared dead.


The reason for the collapse was not yet clear, said police.


On Sunday morning, debris from the accident was being cleared. 


Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh for the families of those who each deceased and Rs 50,000 each for those injured.
