BJP candidate Anoop Singh leading in Khair Vidhan Sabha with 25326 votes while BSP candidate Charu Kain Kain is trailing with 15732 votes.


The assembly seat witnessed a tough competition between BJP's Anoop Pradhan and Congress's Monika Surayawanshi. BJP has mostly won this seat in the assembly polls.

Sideling the 2017 assembly polls runner-up Rakesh Kumar Maurya Mayawati's party has fielded Charu kain for the Khair seat this time.

BJP candidate Anoop Pradhan claimed a landslide victory in the 2017 assembly election with 124,198 votes. He defeated BSP candidate Rakesh Kumar Maurya with a margin of over 70 thousand votes. Over 1500 people pressed NOTA in the 2017 assembly polls.
