Jammu and Kashmir: An unidentified terrorist was killed in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Budgam district on Saturday, while another escaped cordon but was arrested in Pulwama, police said. The forces had launched a cordon-and-search operation in the Mochuwa area of Budgam, following inputs about the presence of ultras there, a police official said.
"One terrorist was killed in the encounter. An AK assault rifle and a pistol were recovered from him," the official said.

Maharashtra: As many as 30 people across Maharashtra`s Nashik have been infected with Delta variant of COVID-19, informed Nashik District Hospital on Friday. "30 people have been infected with Delta variant in Nashik. 28 patients are from rural areas. 2 patients are from Gangapur and Sadique Nagar.
