BJP has decided to fight the Punjab Assembly election in an alliance with Capt Amarinder Singh`s Punjab Lok Congress chief and Sukhdev S Dhindsa`sSAD-Sanyukt Chief.

In the presence of Union HM Amit Shah & BJP pres JP Nadda, Capt Amarinder Singh (Punjab Lok Congress chief), Sukhdev S Dhindsa (SAD-Sanyukt Chief) and I have decided to contest the Punjab Assembly Polls 2022 with an alliance & same manifesto, said Shekhawat.


Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday embarked on a visit to Mandi, and inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of hydropower projects worth Rs 11,000 crore that will help boost the state`s economy and provide additional power to the states. "Today, the Himachal Pradesh govt has completed four years. During its tenure, the government fought against COVID19 and also made sure that development works in the state do not stop," said PM Modi addressing a public meeting in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. 


In other developments, the Election Commission of India (ECI) held a meeting with senior officials of the Union Health Ministry including Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan today to discuss the current COVID-19 situation as five states are going into polls next year.
