Patna University Students` Union election (PUSU) results live updates: JD(U) candidate becomes president, ABVP wins vice-president post
The results of the PUSU, polling for which was held on all the 46 polling booths on Wednesday, have begun pouring in from the Patna Science College.

Prem Pratigya, Alam Rizwan and Prachi are among the six candidates who have been elected unopposed so far.
Counting of votes is expected to begin around 11.30 PM and final results will be most likely announced by 5 AM on Thursday.
According to the Patna University officials, ballot boxes from all polling booths have been brought to the main counting centre – Patna Science College - where they will be opened in front of all PUSU candidates.
The counting, which was earlier scheduled to start from 4 PM, could not be done as there was some delay in bringing the ballot boxes from all the polling booths to the main counting centre.
Hundreds of students gathered at the main entrance gate of the Patna Science College and started shouting slogans.
The ruckus was created by the supporters of the candidates who contested the PUSU elections over a reported delay in announcing the results.
