“I am not able to feel comfortable with the directionless way in which the Congress Party is moving forward today. I can neither raise anti-Sanatan slogans nor abuse the wealth creators of the country in the morning and evening. That is why I I am resigning from all posts and primary membership of Congress Party,” Vallabh wrote in a tweet on ‘X’.

In a resignation letter adressed to party president Mallikarjun Kharge in hindi, Vallabh expressed, "I am emotional. My mind is disturbed. I want to say a lot, write a lot, and tell a lot. But my values prevent me from saying anything that may cause distress to others."

Reflecting on the trajectory of his tenure, he said, "When I joined the Congress party, I believed that Congress is the oldest party in the country. Where the youth, intellectual people, and their ideas are valued. But in the last few years, I have felt that the party is unable to adjust itself with the youth who have new ideas. The party's ground-level connection has completely broken, which is not at all understanding the aspirations of the new India," Vallabh added.
