Jammu and Kashmir: Three militants killed in Pulwama encounter
Security forces on Wednesday gunned down three militants in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir`s Pulwama district.

The bodies have been recovered from the encounter site.
A search operation is underway, said a police official, adding that the identity and group affiliation of the slain militants are being ascertained.
Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Gulab Bagh area of Tral in Pulwama after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants there.
As the forces were conducting the search operation, the hiding militants fired upon them resulting in a gun battle.
