Terrorists attack CRPF`s 29th battalion in Srinagar, no casualties

Terrorists on Tuesday attacked a CRPF vehicle at Sanat Nagar Chowk in J&K.

Jammu: Suspected militants attacked a CRPF vehicle in busy Sanat Nagar area of Srinagar on Tuesday evening but there were no casualties.

"CRPF personnel reported that their vehicle came under fire at Sanat Nagar chowk here," a police spokesman said.

He said there were no casualties on the CRPF side.

Meanwhile, yesterday three Hizbul Mujahideen militants were killed in a gunfight between security forces and militants holed-up in a house in Shopian district.

Security forces had surrounded Gatipora village in Shopian in the afternoon following information about a group of militants hiding there.
