Karnataka election results live: Congress, BJP fight it out in Bangalore
The Congress, which appears set to storm back to power in Karnataka, seems to have failed in its attempt to end BJP`s reign in Bangalore.

Bangalore: The Congress, which appears set to storm back to power in Karnataka, seems to have failed in its attempt to end BJP’s reign in Bangalore, which elects 28 MLAs. As per the latest results/trends available, the Congress and the BJP are ahead in 12 seats each. As per officials, the Congress is leading in Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Shivajinagar, Shantinagar, Gandhinagar, Chickpet, Byatarayanapura, Govindarajanagar, Vijayanagar and BTM Layout.
The BJP, on the other hand, is leading in Rajajinagar, Yelahanka, Yeshwanthpur, Dasarahalli, Mahadevapura, Bangalore South, Anekal, Jayanagar, Basavangudi, Padnamabhanagar and CV Raman Nagar.
The JD(S), meanwhile, is ahead in Chamarajpet.
