In new video, Siddaramaiah expresses concerns over JD(S)-Congress coalition in Karnataka
In the new video, Siddaramaiah can be seen raising doubts over the future of the ruling coalition govt in Karnataka.
MANGALURU: In what may further damage the ties between Congress and the Janata Dal-Secular, a new video of former Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah has now come to fore in which he can be seen raising doubt about the future of the ruling coalition government in the southern state.
According to a TOI report, Congress veteran Siddaramaiah can be seen talking to an anonymous person on the ruling JD(S)-Congress coalition government in Karnataka.
The video, which was aired by a local TV news channel, shows Siddaramaiah expressing displeasure over the coalition government in his state.
The Congress leader, while talking to an unidentified person, raises doubts over the ruling coalition government completing the full five-year term.
He also reportedly tells the other person to wait till the next Lok Sabha election.
"Let us see what happens after the Parliament election,” Siddaramaiah says in the viral video.
Siddaramaiah can also be seen predicting that Narendra Modi-led BJP will not come to power in the 2019 polls if all opposition parties come together.
''Modi will not win again. If all opposition parties unite, then Modi may not win whatever effort he puts,” he says while replying to the other person in the video.
It is to be noted that Siddaramaiah is undergoing nature therapy at the SDM College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences in Dharmasthala. He is believed to have said those words while talking to someone there.
Not to forget that a video of Siddaramaiah discussing politics and expressing objections to Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy’s plans of presenting a fresh Budget had also come to fore a few days ago.
Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy had on Tuesday rebuffed the reports claiming his tiff with his predecessor Siddaramaiah.
"There is no difference at all," Kumaraswamy said while speaking to reporters.
Kumaraswamy also allegedly objected to some Congress MLAs lobbying for cabinet berths and holding meetings.
