Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday made a scathing attack on PM Narendra Modi and claimed that he has enough proof to show that the latter is corrupt - a charge rejected by the BJP as `baseless and laughable.` The Opposition, however, appears to be in no mood to spare the Modi government over the demonetisation issue as the Parliament resumed normal business after a four-day beak on Wednesday.

Apart from demonetisation, the Opposition has also pressed for a discussion on the alleged involvement of Union MoS for Home Kiren Rijiju in an alleged scam related to a hydel project in Arunachal Pradesh. The Winter Session of the Parliament has so far been a washout due to a standoff between the government and the Opposition over demonetisation issue.
