The Bhopal parliamentary constituency is one of the 29 Lok Sabha seats in the state of Madhya Pradesh, situated in the central parts of India.

Madhya Pradesh, which recorded 64.01 percent turnout, saw several heavyweights contesting the polls.

The Assembly Constituencies that fall in Bhopal parliamentary constituency are - Berasia (SC), Bhopal Uttar, Narela, Bhopal Dakshin-Paschim, Bhopal Madhya, Govindpura, Huzur and Sehore.

The election in this constituency was held in the sixth phase of 2019 Lok Sabha polls on May 12. The counting of votes will be held on May 23.

Alok Sanjar of BJP was elected as the Member of Lok Sabha from this seat in the 2014 polls. Sanjar secured 714178 votes and defeated P C Sharma of the INC.
