Sangli Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 48 parliamentary seats in Maharashtra. Formed before 1967, it has five General and one SC reserved Vidhan Sabha segments.

Sangli registered 65.41 percent voter turnout in 2019, a gain of 1.73 percent. The total number of electors in the constituency is 1803054 while the total voter turnout is 1179344. While in 2014, the constituency registered 63.68 per cent voter turnout. The total number of electors in the constituency was 1637753 while the total voter's turnout was 1042869.

The election here was conducted on April 23, 2019, as per the Phase III schedule announced by the ECI. The results would be declared on May 23.

Sanjay (Kaka) Ramchandra Patil of the BJP is the incumbent MP from this constituency. In the 2014 polls, Patil bagged 611563 votes and defeated Patil Pratik Prakashbapu of the INC.
