Viral video: Gau rakshaks brutally thrash man in Ujjain, attack caught on camera

In what seems to be an another case of cattle vigilantes turning violent in Madhya Pradesh, cow vigilantes assaulted a man in Ujjain district of the state.

Bhopal: In what seems to be an another case of cattle vigilantes turning violent in Madhya Pradesh, a man was assaulted and subjected to severe beating by several men in the Ujjain district of the state. 

The incident took place on Saturday when a group of men claiming to be Gau-Rakshaks cornered a man and started thrashing him ruthlessly, accusing him of beating a cow. 

The victim is said to have sustained severe injuries after the incident and was rushed to a nearby hospital. 

A video of the incident went viral after which the police took action and registered a complaint against the miscreants.

At least four people have been arrested while the others are said to be on the run.
