Nashik: The farmers from 49 villages of Sinnar and Igatpuri tehsils have decided not to give an inch of land for the Maharashtra government's Mumbai-Nagpur Samrudhhi Expressway, a member of Farmers' Action Committee said on Sunday.

"We have decided not to give an inch of land for the proposed Expressway," said Raju Desale, Working President of Kisan Sabha and a member of Farmers' Action Committee.


According to Desale, 26 villages in Sinnar and 23 villages in Igatpuri will come under the expressway.
