Mumbai: A fire broke out on Tuesday in a warehouse in suburban Kurla here but no casualties have been reported, fire officials said.

The blaze erupted around 2 PM in a foot-wear and plastic godown near Eastern Express Highway in Kurla, Chief Fire Officer Prabhat Rahangdale said.


Six fire engines and seven tankers have been pressed into service to douse the flames, which have been brought under control now, he said.
No injuries or casualties have been reported in the incident until now, he said.


The cause of fire is yet to be ascertained, the fire official said.
