Raj Bharat Korde, a resident of Dahisar, has filed a PIL seeking a DNA test to establish that Sena MLA Prakash Surve fathered him.

The plea also seeks that Surve must be restrained from denying his relationship with Raj and his mother Ujjwala Korde in public.

Earlier, former Uttar Pradesh chief minister and governor of Andhra Pradesh ND Tiwari had faced a similar embarrassing situation, when Rohit Shekhar moved court in 2008, claiming he was born out of an affair between the Congress leader and his mother Dr Ujjwala Sharma.

In 2012, Tiwari was forced to give samples of his DNA for a paternity test which established he had fathered Shekhar.

Later in March 2014, Tiwari accepted Rohit Shekhar as his biological son, putting an end to a prolonged legal battle on the issue.
