New Delhi: Chinese handset maker OnePlus launched the most anticipated flagship – the OnePlus 6T in New York on Monday. The OnePlus 6 features a 6.41-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio.  With 2340x1080 pixels screen resolution, the phone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with with 6GB and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. It will come with 128GB/256GB storage while there will be no microSD slot. The phone won't have a 64GB variant either.


The phone comes with 16MP + 20 MP Dual LED flash rear camera and a 16MP front camera. OnePlus has dropped the headphone jack on the 6T.


As was majorly touted, the OnePlus 6T comes with sensor induced Screen Unlock. The company says that minor cracks on the display will not affect the sensors.


The phone has a bigger 3700mAh battery.


The OnePlus 6T (128GB+6GB) model has been priced at $549 (Approx Rs 40,000), 128GB+8GB variant at $579 ( Approx Rs 42,500) and 256GB+8GB variant at $629 (Aprox Rs 46,000).


We shall have to wait for the India price that will be revealed by late evening. OnePlus India event is scheduled for tonight in New Delhi at 8.30 pm.


The phone will be an Amazon exclusive. Amazon India has already started accepting pre-bookings for the much anticipated OnePlus 6T smartphone.


Customers can pre-book the new OnePlus 6T with an Amazon Pay gift card worth Rs 1,000 and get the ‘Type C’ Bullet earphones worth Rs 1,490 for free. Customers booking the OnePlus 6T will also receive a cashback of Rs 500 Amazon Pay balance.


Customers can get their hands on the OnePlus 6T starting 12 noon on November 2. Amazon is also offering Amazon Pay EMI, No Cost EMI, Exchange offer and Free Screen Replacement for prebooking the phone.


Additionally, Reliance Jio has also partnered with OnePlus, offering instant cashback of Rs 5,400 on the first prepaid recharge of Rs 299.
