Samsung unveils Galaxy A8, Galaxy A8+ with Infinity Display
The Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8+ will be available in early January.
Seoul: South Korean tech giant Samsung unveiled its new Galaxy A series – Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018) with Infinity Display.
The smartphones will be available in early January, with pricing and availability to vary by markets worldwide.
The smartphones come with 16MP F1.7 rear camera and 16MP+8MP F1.9 dual front camera coupled with advanced Live Focus feature.
The Infinity Display goes beyond the bezel with an immersive 18.5:9 display ratio1. The large screen is supported with ergonomic curved glass on the back and front.
The Galaxy A8(2018) and A8+(2018) are available in four colors including black, orchid grey, gold and blue to suit your personal style2.
Offering IP68 water and dust resistance4, the Galaxy A8(2018) and A8+(2018) can withstand sweat, rain, sand and dust.
The "Galaxy A8" will be available with 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB internal storage with a 3,000mAh battery.
The "Galaxy A8+" will come with 4GB or 6GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB storage options with a 3,500mAh battery.
The 6GB RAM variant of "A8+" could be exclusive to China and a few other Asian markets.
Other features include support for Samsung Pay – a mobile payment and digital wallet service (with MST).
