The company has released a teaser of the launch of a smartphone in India by this month, fueling speculation in the media that it could be the Redmi 4.

Xiaomi had launched Redmi 4 in China in November last year.

Redmi 4 is more successor than its predecessor.  The budgeted phone comes with an all metal unibody design and rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Redmi 4 has taken the look from Redmi Note 4. The phone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, 4,100mAh battery inside and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based MIUI.

It is expected that the phone comes with 3GB  RAM and 32GB ROM with expandable memory upto 128 GB.

Redmi 4 sports 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera.

Redmi 4 is priced at CNY 699 ( roughly Rs 6,900).

Though the official launch date of Redmi 4 has not been declared yet, we expect the reports to come true.
