New Delhi: Lenovo has launched the Vibe K5 Note and is seen as a smartphone that will give a tough competition to India's favourite smartphone Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and the highly rated LeEco Le 2.


Considering their features, specifications and pricing, the smartphones are indeed tempting and do indeed give tough competition to each other and other smartphones in the sub-Rs 15,000 price range.


So, we have pitted the three of them to see which one stands out.


However, we will be using the 3GB RAM and 32GB memory variant of both the K5 Note and Redmi Note 3 as they come in other variants too.


DISPLAY: All the smartphones come with a 5.5-inch 1080x1920 pixels resolution IPS display that results to 403 pixels per index.


PROCESSOR: LeEco Le 2 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor clocking speeds at 1.8GHz while the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 CPU hexa-core processor that delivers up to 1.8GHz clock speed. The Lenovo Vibe K5 Note is powered by MediaTek Helio P10 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz and paired with Mali-T860 GPU.


OPERATING SYSTEM: While the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with MIUI 7 on top, the Le 2 and the Vibe K5 Note are powered by the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow based on their own UI.


RAM: Since, we are comparing devices with 3GB RAM, they are the same in this section. However, the Lenovo Vibe K5 Note also comes with a 4GB RAM variant while the Redmi Note 3 has a 2GB RAM varint.


MEMORY/STORAGE: All the three smartphones come with a 32GB internal storage capacity. However, the Redmi Note 3 and Vibe K5 Note come with a microSD card slot that supports upto 128GB which is not so with the LeEco Le 2.


CAMERA: Redmi Note 3 and Le 2 are equipped with 16MP rear camera with f/2.0 and PDAF. However, while Le 2 has a LED flash, the Note comes with a dual LED flash. As for the front-facing camera, Le 2 comes with an 8MP shooter while the Note comes with a 5MP shooter. On the other hand the Vibe K5 Note is equipped with a 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera.


BATTERY: Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has the biggest battery of all with 4050 mAh battery while the Vibe K5 Note has a 3,500 mAh battery. Le Eco 2 has a 3000 mAh battery, the smallest of all.


CONNECTIVITY: The smartphones support the latest connectivity options such as dual SIM, 4G LTE, Fingerprint sensors, etc.


PRICE: Interestingly, all the three smartphones are priced exactly the same at Rs 11,999.
