New Delhi: A portion of a slab of an under-construction building collapsed in Nagpada area of Mumbai on Monday.

The incident took place at Peer Khan Street in Nagpada in Mumbai today where the building construction work was going on. No loss of life was reported at the time of filing of the report.


At least three fire engines along with a rescue van and an ambulance were rushed to the spot. 


At least five persons got trapped under the debris, he said, adding that they were rescued by Fire brigade and police and rushed to state run J J hospital.


Two of the injured persons were discharged while others are hospitalised, officials said.
